Filters & Controls

The global controls bar appears at the top of every report page. These filters apply across all charts and metrics on the current page.

Portal Selector

By default, reports aggregate data from all connected portals. Use the portal selector to filter to specific portals.

You can select one or multiple portals. The selection persists as you navigate between report pages within the same session.

Date Range

Choose a time period for your reports. Available presets:

  • Last 30 days
  • Last 90 days
  • Last 6 months
  • Last 12 months
  • Year to date
  • Custom range (pick start and end dates)

All charts and KPIs update to reflect only data within the selected date range. The date range persists across page navigation.

Category Filter

If you've configured pipeline categories, the category filter appears in the controls bar.

Selecting a category filters all deal, revenue, and pipeline reports to only include data from pipelines mapped to that category. This is useful for comparing similar pipeline types (e.g., all "Sales" pipelines) across your portfolio.

Select "All Categories" to see data across all pipelines regardless of category.

Grouping

Controls how time-series charts bucket data:

  • Monthly — Each data point represents one calendar month
  • Quarterly — Data grouped into Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4
  • Yearly — Data grouped by calendar year

Use monthly for short date ranges and quarterly or yearly for longer ranges to keep charts readable.

Compare Mode

Toggle compare mode to see portal-level breakdowns in time-series charts. When enabled, charts show a separate line or bar segment for each portal instead of a single aggregated total.

This is useful for identifying which portfolio companies are driving changes in overall metrics.

Refresh

Click the refresh button to re-fetch data from HubSpot. Reports cache data briefly for performance — refreshing forces a fresh pull from all connected portals.
